Expert Tick Control Services Near You

Concerned about Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses? Finding ticks on family members or pets after yard activities? Need effective tick control to protect your family’s health? Marriott Termite and Pest Control provides comprehensive tick control services throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania and Hunterdon County, New Jersey. We’ve been protecting families from tick-borne diseases in Doylestown, Flemington, Quakertown, Lambertville, and surrounding communities since 2008.

Ticks are serious health threats that transmit Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, ehrlichiosis, and other dangerous illnesses. Our region has some of the highest rates of tick-borne diseases in the United States. Professional tick control is essential for protecting your family and pets from these potentially life-threatening conditions.

Signs You Need Professional Tick Control

Tick problems can put your family’s health at serious risk:

Tick Encounters:

  • Finding ticks attached to family members or pets
  • Discovering ticks crawling on clothing after yard work
  • Multiple tick encounters during outdoor activities
  • Ticks found inside your home after outdoor activities

High-Risk Property Conditions:

  • Wooded areas adjacent to your property
  • Tall grass and overgrown vegetation areas
  • Areas where deer and other wildlife frequent
  • Landscaping that provides tick habitat
  • Properties near hiking trails or natural areas

Seasonal Increases:

  • Dramatic increases in tick activity during spring and summer
  • Tick problems that persist despite personal protection measures
  • New tick encounters in previously safe yard areas
  • Seasonal patterns that limit outdoor family activities

Health Concerns:

  • Family history of tick-borne illness
  • Young children who play in yard areas
  • Pets that spend time outdoors
  • Elderly family members at higher risk for complications

If you’re encountering ticks on your Bucks County or Hunterdon County property, professional tick control can dramatically reduce your family’s risk of tick-borne diseases.

Our Comprehensive Tick Control Process

Property Assessment & Tick Risk Evaluation

Effective tick control begins with understanding tick habitat and risk factors:

  • Habitat Assessment: Identification of areas where ticks live and reproduce
  • Wildlife Activity Evaluation: Assessment of deer, mice, and other tick hosts
  • Vegetation Analysis: Identification of tick-friendly landscaping conditions
  • Microclimate Evaluation: Areas with ideal tick survival conditions
  • Risk Mapping: Identification of highest-risk areas on your property
  • Seasonal Considerations: Timing treatments for maximum tick control

Our assessment creates a detailed understanding of tick populations and risk factors specific to your property.

Targeted Tick Treatment Programs

We provide multiple tick control approaches based on your property’s specific needs:

Perimeter Tick Control:

  • Barrier treatments around your home’s perimeter
  • Focus on transition areas between lawn and wooded zones
  • Residual products that continue killing ticks for weeks
  • Strategic applications to maximize tick contact with treated areas

Yard-Wide Tick Treatment:

  • Comprehensive treatment of entire lawn and landscaped areas
  • Special attention to shaded areas where ticks thrive
  • Treatment of ornamental beds, mulched areas, and ground cover
  • Professional products designed for extensive outdoor use

Targeted Habitat Modification:

  • Vegetation management to reduce tick-friendly conditions
  • Recommendations for landscaping changes that discourage ticks
  • Creation of tick-free buffer zones around outdoor activity areas
  • Wildlife management strategies to reduce tick host animals

Integrated Tick Management

Long-term tick control requires addressing environmental factors:

Habitat Reduction:

  • Removal of leaf litter and debris where ticks shelter
  • Vegetation trimming to reduce humid microclimates
  • Creation of gravel or mulch barriers between lawn and woods
  • Management of areas where tick host animals shelter

Wildlife Management:

  • Recommendations for reducing deer and rodent populations
  • Bird feeding station management to avoid attracting tick hosts
  • Landscaping modifications that discourage wildlife
  • Physical barriers to prevent wildlife access to treated areas

Ongoing Monitoring & Prevention:

  • Regular property assessments for tick activity
  • Seasonal treatments timed to target different tick life stages
  • Early intervention before tick populations establish
  • Documentation of treatment effectiveness and adjustments

I could not have found better electricians than Tom and Traci! I had to install smoke detectors in a 4 story house with concrete floors, which I learnt from a few electricians is a big challenge. Tom was kind enough to follow me to the Fire Department to make sure he has the requirements right. He came and evaluated the job and told me it might need 4 days. Not only they were able to do it, they did it seamlessly, without any visible pipes or wires and in 3 days! They are truly skillful electricians. And the place was left spotless! They went above and beyond. And their pricing was also very reasonable. They were truly a blessing that came at the right time.

A couple weeks ago we had an unexpected guest, a bat, in our house! We were able to remove it safely but knew that we needed to call an expect to assess whether further action needed to be taken so we called Marriott termite and pest control! What a wonderful experience! A technician was able to come out and asses our bat situation the next day! We were given some good news in that nothing serious was found and we were even charged for the house call! Great customer service! If we have any other issues, we know who to call!

John did a good job for me. Initial remediation resulted in several trapped mice, but he returned without additional charge until the problem was completely gone. In addition to trapping, he plugged numerous holes around the house. Highly recommended.

John is very responsive and they do a great job- very reasonably priced compared to the big companies but the big difference is they are local, family owned and actually care. We had Cooper perviously and the experience with these guys is much better.

I had suspected a termite issue and called up Marriott to take a look after finding them online. John showed up within a few hours the same day and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Luckily the issue did not appear to be termite related and he thoroughly explained all the reasons why. I wasn’t charged for the inspection and John even helped me out with some unrelated questions I had about ladder brands.

Marriott Termite and Pest Control came out quickly and removed one large hornet’s nest and another smaller one. The guy that came was friendly and very knowledgeable and most importantly, not afraid of this gigantic nest 20 feet up in a tree. We will definitely call them again if needed.
